Olympia School District and Olympia Education Association are recruiting candidates to apply for the WEA- Apprenticeship Residency in Teaching program.

We are seeking candidate applicants who:  

• Want to earn a salary while learning to become a fully certificated teacher with an endorsement in Special Education;

• Believe all students can learn and thrive in inclusive, rigorous and joyful learning environments;

• Want to learn alongside experienced and trained mentors to learn the job on the job;

• Reflect the diversity of the students and community;

• Are committed to social justice, equity and inclusion for all;

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any area.
