I have been hearing from members that class sizes are up and there are more split classes at the elementary level. Overload is paid September-May. Except for September, the count day is the first school day of the month. September the count day is September 12. You get paid for September overload in October. In October submit both October’s and September’s overload. If you have never done had overload before talk to a colleague or your building rep. Overload language starts on page 30 of the CBA.
